| Calvin is 7 years old and my only child. We found out Calvin's
diagnose when he was 3 weeks old, his cry gave it away. He has no
heart, lung or any life threatening problems, besides you average cold
and flu.
Calvin is in Grade 2, and attends a normal school and has an aid all day with him. He has done very well this year, reading, doing spelling tests, (on a computer) and attending the regular class functions when possible. He has his ups and downs like every other child but have figured out a lot of how to control most of his mood swings. He does have a aggressive problems, which I would like to keep under control. I don't see it very much, but at school it happens a bit, not as bad as a couple of years ago. Most of it is do to his communication, he is really talking a lot lately and does do a bit of signing as well. There has been a few times he is even explaining something to me in a sentence I tell you I was in tears the first time I heard that!! He is just a special little boy in his own ways, and is very loving young man!! Everyday he impresses me with something else to be proud of him for.
